Connect Thirty Eight welcomes Peter Brett Associates on site
PBA are a consulting practice of engineers, planners, scientists and economists delivering major development and infrastructure projects.
Founded in 1965 with just a handful of staff, PBA has experienced significant growth since it began operating out of a semi-detached house in Reading. The company now has over 700 employees and a regional spread of offices with a depth of technical skills throughout the UK, and an associated company in Prague that serves central European markets. It also recently celebrated its landmark 50th anniversary.
Although their offices had been based in Kent for over 25 years, PBA found themselves limited by the size of their previous office and decided to move to a bigger office in Ashford. With a strong client base in Kent and London, they also recognised the value of the good transport links from the town which gives them the quick connectivity they need to meet with clients and visit other regional offices.
PBA settled on Connect 38 because of its prime location to the International Station, as well as its flexible space configuration which allows for efficient planning. It also provided the option to base the whole company on just one floor, as opposed to their previous offices.
Tony Wake, Partner, PBA, said: “Peter Brett Associates has been based in Kent for over 25 years. The area is of great importance to our Practice; we have a strong presence in Ashford and we are committed to staying in the area.
“Our plans for growth couldn’t be achieved in our previous premises but the move to Connect 38 will enable our business to thrive and allow us to continue bringing value to our clients and shaping local communities.”
PBA has an ambitious business plan and growth targets for the next five years – making their future at Connect 38 a very exciting place to be.
